AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AMENDMENTS TO THE TWO AGREEMENTS BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ASPEN AND THE ASPEN SKIING CORPORATION PROVIDING FOR
BUS SERVICE TO BUTTERMILK MOUNTAIN AND SNOWMASS RESORT
WHEREAS, there have been submitted to the City Council
amendments to the two bus service agreements between the City of
Aspen and the Aspen Skiing Corporation which provide for bus
service to Buttermilk Mountain and Snowmass Resort, and
WHEREAS, the tlome Rule Charter of the City of Aspen,
Colorado, requires that all leases for a term of one year or more
must be approved by ordinance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does ratify the amendments to the agreements between
the City of Aspen and the Aspen Skiing Corporation which provide
for bus service to Buttermilk Mountain and Snowmass Resort
attached hereto and incorporated by this reference; and does
further authorize the Mayor on the effective date of this
ordinance, to execute said amendments on behalf of the City of
Aspen.
Section 2
If any section,
subsection,
sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the ~
day of ~ , 1980, at 5:00 P.M. in the
City Council Chambers Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
