ORDINANCE NO. ~1
(Series of 1980)
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SEVEN VEHICLE
LEASING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND DICK WHEELER,
INC., WHICH LEASES ARE FOR TERMS OF THIRTY-SIX MONTHS ~D PROVIDE
FOR MONTHLY PAYMENTS OF $203.34, $139.67, $297.85, $207.78,
$207.78, $207.78 and $207.78
WHEREAS, the City Council is required, by reason of Section
10.8 of the home rule charter, to ratify all long-term rental
agreements by ordinance, and it wishes to do so with respect to
seven outstanding agreements between the City of Aspen and Dick
Wheeler, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLO-
RADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that lease agreement
between the City of Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc. for the lease of
a 1980 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Four Wheel Drive Short Wheel Base Pickup,
Serial Number CKD14AF376075, under the following terms and
conditions:
Term of rental:
Monthly payment:
36 months
$203.34
Mileage Allowance: 15,000
Mileage Charge over Allowance: $.10
Insurance to be maintained by the City
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in the
agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of Finance
of the City of Aspen).
Section 2
That it does hereby ratify and approve that lease agreement
between the City of Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc. for the lease of

That it does hereby ratify and approve that lease agreement
between the City of Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc. for the lease of
a 1980 Chevrolet 4x4 Longbox Pickup, Serial Number CKD14AF362979,
under the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 36 months
Monthly payment: $207.78

Mileage Allowance: 15,000

Section 8
If any provision of
this ordinance or the application thereof
to any person or circumstance is held invalid such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the invalid provision or appli-
cation, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
Section 9
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the
