AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING A REDUCTION IN ANTICIPATED BUS
FEES OF $30,000.00 IN THE TRANSIT FUND, RECOGNIZING
A TRANSFER OF $124,578.00 FROM THE TRANSPORTATION/MALL FUND
THE TRANSIT FUND AND APPROPRIATING $94,578.00 IN
MISCELLANEOUS TRANSIT FUND EXPENDITURES
TO
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there is avail-
able for appropriation $124,578.00 in the Transportation/Mall Fund
for transfer to the Transit Fund; and
WHEREAS, the cancellation of a bus contract with the Aspen
Club has made necessary the reduction of Transit Fund revenues in
the amount of $30,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY ~tE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated in
the budget, the City Council hereby makes a supplemental appropri-
ation of a transfer to the Transit Fund in the amount of
$124,578.00 recognizing a reduction in bus fees in the amount of
$30,000.00, and appropriating miscellaneous bus operating and
capital expenditures in the Transit Fund in the amount of
$94,578.00 for the purposes specified on the attached Exhibit "A".
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
