HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.041-80RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves ORDINANCE NO. 4/ (Series of 1980) AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN ~{E GENERAL FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $209,393.00 FROM CURRENT YEAR UNANTICIPATED REVENUES, RECOGNIZING A TRANSFER OF $31,078.00 FROM THE LAND/OPEN SPACE FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND; APPROPRIATING $34,659.00 FROM PRIOR YEAR GENERAL FUND BALANCES; AND APPROPRIATING GENERAL FUND EXPENDITURES IN THE AMOUNT OF $275,130.00 AS DETAILED IN EXHIBIT A WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter, the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are available for appropriation $34,659.00 from prior year General Fund balances and $209,393.00 in unanticipated current year revenues detailed in Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain transfers and expenditures must be recognized and approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY ~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO; Section 1 Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail- able for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated in the budget, the City Council hereby makes a supplemental appropri- ation of current and prior year unappropriated general fund revenues in the amount of $244,052.00 and of transferred Land and Open Space Fund revenues in the amount of $31,078.00 to be expended in the total amount of $275,130.00 for such purposes and within such General Fund departments as detailed in Exhibit "A".
