ORDINANCE NO. ~
(Series of 1974)
AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE MAKING OF THREE
AGREEMENTS FOR THE LEASING OF POLICE VEHICLES
PURSUANT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF ~9.13(b) OF
THE ASPEN MUNICIPAL CHARTER.
WHEREAS, the city administration has entered
into lease agreements for the use of three police
vehicles which agreements provide for payments
beyond the fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, ~9.13(b) of the Aspen City Charter
requires the making of such agreements by ordinance
and the City Council wishes to ratify these agree-
ments so as to satisfy the Charter requirements
hereinabove described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1.
That those agreements dated June 24, 1974,
entered into by the City of Aspen with Jesse Boyce
Motors, Inc., of Grand Junction, Colorado, for the
leasing of three vehicles with identification numbers
854-2118-983, 854-2100-520, and 854-2119-026, which
agreements are attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein, be and hereby are ratified and
approved all as required by §9.13(b) of the Charter
of the City of Aspen, Colorado.
Section 2.
If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance
is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect

other provisions or applications of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the invalid
provisions or applications and to this end the
provisions or applications of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
Section 3.
A public hearing on this ordinance shall be
held on the ,~ day of ~,~ , 1974,
at 5 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall,
Aspen, Colorado.
