AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION (f) OF SECTION 9, CHAPTER 1
OF TITLE XI, PROVIDING FOR THE LEASING OF OFF-STREET PARKING
SPACES IN THE C-C ZONED DISTRICT FROM THE CITY OF ASPEN.
BE IT ORDAINED Bx THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section l: Subsection (f), Section 9, Chapter 1
of Title XI is hereby amended to read as follows:
"11-1-9 (f)
Location of Required Off-Street ParK-
lng - Parking required for any use in
AR -1, AR-2, C-1 or C-2 shall in no
case be located in an adjacent resi-
dential district. Parking for any
dwelling, hospital, school or other
use located in residential district,
must De located on the same Dui£ding
site as the principal use. Parking
for a boarding or rooming house, lodge,
motel or hotel or dormitory must be
located on the same or adjacent lot
under the same ownership as the lot
occupied by the principal use. Park-
ing required in the C-C district may
be leased or acquired from the City
o~ Aspen upon terms and conditions and
in sucn places authorized and approved
by the Cit~ Manager. All Funds receiv-
ed from such parking rentals shall be
earmarked and used by the City for the
purpose of providing, maintaining, con-
structin~ and utilizing parking areas
and facilities."
Section 2: If any provision of this Ordinance or
the application thereo~ to any person or circumstances is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the Ordinance which can be given effect without
the invalid provisions or application and to this end the pro-
visions of this Ordinance are delared to be severable.
