BE IT O:~AINED BY THE CI'I~f COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN: SECTION 1: The City Council for the City of Aspen hereby declares that public interest and necessity demand the sale of City owned real property in accordance with Section 139- 32-2(2), C. R. S. '53, situate in the County of Pitkin, State of Colorado, described as follows: Lots One (1) and %~o (2), Block 'P~o <2), Connor's Addition, adjacent to the City and Townsite of Aspen° SECTION 2: The Mayor of the City of Aspen is hereby authorized and directed to sell at public auction all of the above described real property to the highest and best bidder subject to the following terms of sale: A. Notice of Sale shall be given by one publi- cation in the Aspen Times at least ten ~13) days prior to the date of said sale. B. Terms shall be cash, payable /(~ per cent at time of sale and the balance upon delivery of deed of conveyance. C. Conveyance shall be by Quit Claim Deed° D. Said sale shall be subject to confirmation by the City Council and the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids offered at said sale. SECTION 3: An emergency is declared to exist and the immediate passage of this Ordinance is necessary for the public peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of the City of Aspen, Colorado, and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after its final publication. E. ROBISON, Mayor of the City of Aspen, do hereby certify that in accordance with Ordinance No. 5, (Series of 1956), and the Notice A. M., July 31, of land situate in the County of Pitkin, State of Colorado, Lots One (1) and Two (2), Block Two (2), Connor's Addition, adjacent to the City and Townsite of Aspen. and that said sale was held in the following manner: of Sale of Real Estate, offer for sale at 10:00 1956, the following described lot, piece or parcel to-wit: 1. MAYOR NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL ESTATE Pursuant to the provisions of Section 139-32-2(2), Colorado Revised Statutes, 1953, and an Ordinance finally adopted and approved by the Council of the City of Aspen on the 2nd day of July, 1956, Notice is hereby given that the Mayor of said City will sell at public auction to highest and best bidder at the front door of the City Hall (Armory Hall), on July 31, 1956, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., all the interest of the said City in and to all that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, situate in said City of Aspen, County of Pitkin, State of Colorado, described as follows: Lots One (1) and Two (2), Block Two (2), Connor's Addition, adjacent to the City and Townsite of Aspen. The purchaser or purchasers at said sale will be required to pay all the expenses of advertising in addition to the amount of his or their bid. Clerk.
