AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE SALE OF LOT FIVE (5),
CAPITOL HILL ADDITION, AND PROVIDING FOR THE TERMS THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN:
SECTION 1: The City Council for the City of Aspen
hereby declares that public interest and necessity demand the
sale of City owned real property in accordance with Section 139-
32-2(2), C. R. S. '53, situate in the County of Pitkin, State of
Colorado, described as follows:
Lot 5, Capitol Hill Addition.
SECTION 2: The Mayor of the City of Aspen is hereby
authorized and directed to sell at public auction all of the
above describedreal property to the highest and best bidder sub-
ject to the following terms of sale:
A. Notice of Sale shall be given by one publica-
tion in the Aspen Times at least ten (10) days prior to
the date of said sale.
B. Terms shall be cash, payable 7~F per cent
at the time of sale and the balance upon delivery of
deed of conveyance°
C. Conveyance shall be by Quit Claim Deed.
Do Said sale shall be subject to confirmation by
the City Council and the City Council reserves tbe right
to reject any and all bids offered at said saleo
AT, ST:
SECTION 3: An emergency is declared to exist and the
immediate passage of this Ordinance is necessary for the public
peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of the City of Aspen,
Colorado, and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days after its final publication.

Colorado, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council

order of the said City Council was publishe~ as a proposed ordinance
as the law directs, and for more than ten (10) days prior to its
passage, in The Aspen Times, legal newspaper;.and that on the ~

regular meeting of said City Council and ordered published in the
aforesaid newspaper as the law directs.
