AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN ANNUAL LEVY ON ALL TAXABLE PROP-
ERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1950, AND ENDING
DECEMBER 31, 1950, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ASPEN:
Thtat there is hereby levied on each dollar of assessed valuation of
all taxable property within the city limits of the City of Aspen, Colorado,
assessed in the year A.D. 1949, the following taxes:
Section 1. For the purpose of defraying the
General Expenses of the City, the sum of
Section Z. For fire hydrant and water rental,
the sum of
Section 3. For Redemption and Interest on
Bonds, the sum of
28 mills
3 mills
6 mills
Total g7 mills
Introduced, read and ordered published as provided by law by the
City Council of Aspen, Colorado, at its regular meeting held at said City
of Aspen, on this 7th day of November, A.D. 1949. ~

I, ETHEL M. FROST, as City Clerk of the City of Aspen, Colorado,
do hereby certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance was introduced,
read in full and passed first reading at the regular meeting of the City
Council held October 3, 1949, and published in the Aspen Times, a weekly
newspaper of general circulation published at the City of Aspen, Colorado,
in its ussue of October 6, 1949, and was finally passed, adopted and
proved at the regular meeting of said City Council held on November 7,
1949, and was ordered published as Ordinance No. 4 (Series of 1949) of
said City, as provided by law.
