RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, the co~unity of Aspen wishes to recognize the
outstanding contributions of the Willoughby family to the City of
Aspen in among other things members of the Willoughby Family spent
years in dedicated service to the community; members of the
Willoughby Family were instrumental
Club; and members of the Willoughby
establishing the lift systems which
world ski center; and
in founding the Aspen Ski
Family were instrumental in
allowed Aspen to become a
WHEREAS, the City of Aspen desires to honor and commemorate
park in memory of the Willoughbys,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
That the City commemorate in perpetuity the name of the
Willoughby Family by renaming Lift One Park to be known from this
time forward as "WILLOUGHBY PARK".
