HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.021-66RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City of Aspen is the owner of certain real property located in Pitkin County, Colorado; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Aspen desires that said property be permanently dedicated to the people of Pitkin County for park and recreation purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following described property be and hereby is permanently dedicated and set aside for use by the public for park and recreation purposes: PAEPCKE PARK: Ail of Block 67, in and to the City and Townsite of Aspen, Colorado. GLORY HOLE PARK: A tract of land situate in the Ute Addition, City of Aspen, County of Pitkin, State of Colorado, described as follows: Beginning at a point from whence the Southeast Corner of Block 113, of the Townsite and City of Aspen bears S. 75° 09' E. N. 75° 09' W. S. 41° 52' W. S. 37° 47' E. N. 51° 32' S. 33° 50' E. N. 51° 40' E. N. 14° 51' E. S. 75° 09' E. N. 14° 51' E. of beginning, more or less. 109.0 feet; thence 178.8 feet; thence 257.3 feet; thence 94.5 feet; thence 154.6 feet; thence 60.0 feet; thence 65.1 feet; thence 60.0 feet; thence 44.7 feet; thence 90.0 feet; to point containing 0.98 acres RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves -2- AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each of the above described parcels of land shall be designated as a public park on the official plat of the City of Aspen, Colorado.
