the City of Aspen is the owner of certain real
property located in Pitkin County, Colorado;
AND~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Aspen
desires that said property be permanently dedicated to the people
of Pitkin County for park and recreation purposes;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED that the following des-
cribed real property be and is hereby permanently dedicated and
set aside for use by the public for park and recreation purposes:
A tract of land located in the South East ~
of the South West ~ of Section 7, Township 10
South, Range 84 West of the 6th P.M. and being
part of the East Aspen Townsite. Said tract
is more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point on a line between Corner
No. 26 and Corner No. 27, Tract 40, East Aspen
Townsite, whence Corner No. 26 bears South 74°
30' East 35.00 feet;
