AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT PLAN AND TRUST
FOR THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the City of Aspen desires to adopt a retire-
ment plan to provide retirement benefits for its officers and
employees, and further desires to implement said plan by creat-
ing a trust fund in accordance with the requirements of the
Internal Revenue Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Aspen, Colorado.
Section 1.
The City of Aspen, Colorado, hereby adopts and approves
that certain Employees Retirement Plan and Trust, attached here-
to and being a part hereof, to be dated August 1, 1972, between
the City of Aspen, Colorado and the First National Bank in
Grand Junction, Colorado, which Retirement Plan shall be for
the benefit of the officers and employees of the City of Aspen,
Colorado as provided therein.
Section 2.

unc~ Chambers, City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
Section 3.
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of
the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provisions or application, and to this end the provisions of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
