The Council met as a Committee of the Whole on October 6, 1960, at 7:30 Pm with Mayor Garrish, Council-
men Anderson, James, Braun and Beyer, and City Administrator Wurl present.
Mr. Kelly was present and~ inquired about the water meter at the new school and reference was made to Water Meter
Ordinance No. I Series, 1960, wherein it is required that a water meter be installed at the school at the New School
expense of the school.
To be referred to Council at the next regular meeting, - the request from the Highway Deoartment to
remove dirt from an area at the Dump Ground,- about 350 by l~O ?eet and l~ to 20 feet deDbh. ~
The proposed budget for 1961 was discussed at length, and Mr. Wurl will complete final draft and B~dget 1961
it will be considered at the postponed regular meeting on October 22, 1960.
A reduction in the mill levy was discussed, and approval was indicated for a reduction from 19 mills Mill Levy
to 18.8 mills.
The meeting was then adjourned.
