No. 1 and 3
Mr. Holder said ~ had looked o~er the bids on Aspen Water Main Extension Pro-
ject West Schedules No. 1 and ~, and said there were no errors and no omissions.
He read the following bid:
Merrill Construction Co. - low bid - #1 $20,846.25 Low bid
2 50,627.93
and said this is the low bid, and that Merrill can make bond and has the equipment.
Mr. Holder then reco~ended that the bid of Merril ~ accepted on both Project No. 1
and Project No. 3.
A motion was made by Councilman Stapleton to accept the bid of Merril Construc- Motion
tion Company on the Aspen Water Main Extension Project - West - Projects No 1 and 3
in the total amount of $71,47~.18 -according to schedule am to authorize Davi~
Holder to give contractor immediate notice to proceed and obtain bond. Motion was
seconded by Councilman Kus~ter. Roll call vote Councilmen McEschern aye; Stapleton
aye; Kuster aye. The motion carried.
A motion was then made by Councilman Stapleton, seconded by Councilman Kuster~
