Aspen Colorado Special Meeting, Aspen City Council, January 10, 1966.
1-ast Meeting The special meeting was called to ordar at 3:35 P. M, by Mayor Pabst, with
Old Council Councilmen Kuster, Stapleton, Barnard and McEachern, City Attorney Scott and
City Administrator Kerrigan present. 'Hie minutes of the regular meeting of
January 3, 1966, were approved. as read.
There being no business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned
at 3:45 PM upon motion by Councilman Stapleton seconded by Councilman McEachern
' and. carried with all Councilmen voting aye.

First Meeting At 3:55 P.M. Judge Shaw administered the oaths of office to the
New Council following incoming City Officials.
Mayor Robert Barnard
City Clerk - Lorraine G=aves
City Treasurer - Sam Lum
Councilmen - Werner Kuster
William McEachern
David E. Stapleton
Clyde Clymer
Also present was John Kerrigan, City Administrator.
Mayor Barnard asked for a motion to go into executive session. Council-
man Stapleton made a motion'to go into executive session, seconded by Councilman
Kuster. Ail Councilmen voted aye.
Council reconvened at 4:45 P~M. with a motion made by Councilman
Kuster to get out of executive sessioh. Seconded by Councilman Stapleton.
Mayor Ba~nard stated that no appointments to permanent positions or
department heads would be made at this meeting but would be made during the
meeting of January 17, 1966.
Councilman Kuster made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilman
St~pleton. Ail Councilmen voted aye. Meeting adjourned at 4:50 P.M.
