HomeMy WebLinkAboutminutes.council.19660328 Special Meeting Asp.en City Council March 28, 1966 The special meeting for the purpose of opening bids on the filtration plant was called to order by Mayor Barnard, with Councilmen Stapleton, Clymer, City Administrator Leon Wurl and Provisional City Attorney Janet Gaylofd. Called to order at 3:40 P.M. Filtration Plant Bids Mr. Dale Rea, City Engineer for this project, stated the contractors in their bids should acknowledge addendums 1 and 2. The bids were opened by Mayor Barnard and read by Administrator Wurl as follows: FILTRATION PLANT Alternates Utilities Engineering and Construction 479 525.00 +10,200.00 E. A. Phelps Construction Company 155,870.00 Penner Construction Company 164,865.00 Special Meeting Aspen City Council March 28, 1966 Upon completion of the opening of the bids Mr. ~. A. Neilson appealed ~o Council Bid Error upon an error made in his bid on the filtration plant for S51,000. Mayor Barnard stated the awarding of the bid would be at the next regular meeting of the City Council on April 4, 1966 at 3:30 P.M. Council then went into executive session. Meeting was adjourned a~ 5:00 P.M. City Clerk
