Meeting was called to order by Mayor Robert Barnard at 1:15 p.m. to discuss
the Red Mountain Water Contract. Present for roll call - Councilmen David
Stapleton, Werner Kuster, William McEachern. Attorney Gaylord and Administrator
Wurl.
Councilman Stapleton made a motion to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign
Red Mt. Water the Contract for Contributions Toward Water Main Construction Among the City of
Contract Aspen, Greater Aspen Development Company and Red Mountain Development Corporation.
Seconded by councilman McEachern. Roll call vote - Councilmen Kuster aye; Stapleton
aye; McEachern aye.
"Daisy Duck" Discussed liquor violations at the so called "Daisy Duck" and req~t for hearing
Liq. Problem by State Liquor Inspector - Philpott.
Councilman Stapleton made a motion that the City hold a public hearing on the State
Liquor License #G-573 under the name of the Centre of Aspen on August 14th,
3:30 p.m., City Council Chambers. Seconed by Councilman McEachern. Roll call
vote - Councilmen McEachern aye; Kuster aye; Stapleton aye.
Councilman Stapleton made a motion to adjourn at 1:40 p.m. Seconded by Counci~an
Kuster. Ail in favor, meeting adjourned.
