It is wrong to Ie them govern themselves. We are looking for vitality at the market. Bill said he didn't agree with Mark. The decisions and conversations and we don't need someone else notion is to protect the small farmer to be viable. They stuck with it to expand their product. Recycling center - Bill said we need to investigate single stream. It is unclear why we would spend lmillion dollars and may not make any substantial inroads in the recycling world. Shae said recycling doesn't seem to work, or rather the newspapers work in the recycling bins around town but no one uses the co-mingling. Shae said the owner of Waste management and Chris from the county dump said single stream has been tested in Denver and it cost around ten million to set up. The problem is getting buyers to purchase single stream in this area. Right now the county makes money on the sell of cardboard but once it would go into single stream we wouldn't get as much. Mark said he gave Environmental Health information on recycling that is done in Nantucket. Meeting adjourned 10:00 a.ill. Kathleen 1. Strickland, Chief Deputy Clerk
