Meeting was called to order by Mayor Robert Barnard at 6:20 p.m. with Councilmen
Bergman, Kuster~ Clymer and,Administrator Wurl.
Meeting was called on the vacancys existing on the Planning and Zoning due to non-
P & Z Appoint. acceptance by Garfish and Mars. Administrator Wurl reported Joel Hartmeister is also
in serving on the Commission.
Councilman Kuster made a motion to appoint William Tharp on the Planning and Zoning
Commission to replace Donald Copelin. Seconded by Councilman Bergman. Roll call vote -
Councilmen Clymer aye; Kuster aye; Bergman aye.
Councilman Clymer made a motion to appoint Joel Hartmeister on the Planning and
Zoning Cormnission to replace Tom Benton. Seconded by Councilman Bergman. Roll call
vote - Councilmen Kuster aye; Bergman aye; Clymer aye.
Vail Airways Vail Airways - Request letter from~Council showing the Cities support of Vail Airways
and the sad condition of services by Aspen Airways.
Councilman Kuster made a motion the City write a letter to Vail Airways on their request
for support. Seconded by Councilman Clymer. Ail in favor, motion carried.
Calif. Zephyr Administrator Wurl reported a moratorium has been called on the California Zephyr until
June 20th. ~here will be a meeting prior to the hearing somewhere on the western slope.
Councilman Clymer made a motion to adjourn at 6:45 p.m., seconded by Councilman Kuster.
Ail in favor meeting adjourned.
