Mayor Klanderud called the special meeting to order at 4: 10 p.m. with Councilmembers
Johnson, Torre and DeVilbiss present. Also present were John Worcester, city attorney,
Steve Barwick, city manager, Paul Menter and Scott Newman, finance department; and
Kathryn Koch, city clerk.
Councilman DeVilbiss moved to go into executive session at 4:10 p.m. pursuant to
C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a) to discuss the purchase or acquisition of the Isis Theatre; seconded
by Councilman Torre. All in favor, motion carried.
Councilman Torre moved to come out of executive session at 4:50 p.m.; seconded by
Councilman DeVilbiss. All in favor, motion carried.
Councilman Torre moved to adjourn at 4:50 p.m.; seconded by Councilman DeVilbiss.
All in favor, motion carried.

This morning's site visit was very helpful and informative. I also met with Steve Barwick at lPM to get
more background, and since I will be unable to attend this afternoon's meeting, have given Steve my
"proxy" to vote in favor of the No Notch option. The ticket/concession arrangement seems to work well
for the movie theater operation (in the opinion of a former Popcorn Lady at the old Playhouse) and
actually reminds me of the Dominic & Kitty-era Isis! Jasmine
