Dear Charles,
The Planning Office has reviewed your request for expanding
"The Grill on the Park" at 307 South Mill Street by enclosing
approximately 145 square feet at the rear of the building. As
the area of expansion is less than 250 square feet, and will be
used for the freezer, cooler, ice machine, and storage incidental
to the restaurant use of the building, I approve this request as
a one time only expansion exempt from the growth management
system. You are hereby authorized to proceed to building permit
review.

We hews submitted to the Building Department plans for the remodfilUin.. of tho,;>
"R. Peas" space at 307 South Mill Street in Aspen. The new restaurant opera_^
tion is to be known as "The Grill On The Dark" and will be owned by Haward
Gunther and JoshUa Saslove. The most workable plan for this SPace rllsulted
In the need to enclose a small portion of area at tne back of the building.
I understand that this would require your approval as it would be an increase
in the tx.lildlngs F.A,R.. I've encloS<ld two copies of the floo.plan and
elevations for the proposed remodelled buildin9. Plesse note thet the area
requested to be enclosed would consist of approximately 141.75 Square feet.
To be safe ~ver, we probably should request approval for 145 square feet
to allow for variations in the field.
