ORDINANCE NO. 7
(Series of 1984)
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN AMENDED SPECIALLY PLANNED AREA PLAN
FOR LOT 4 OF THE CITY THOMAS PROPERTY SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Lot 4 of the City Thomas Property Subdivision
(exhibit "A") is occupied by the City's Water Treatment Plant; and
WHEREAS, with the adoption of Ordinace No. 18 (Series of 1983)
which adopted the specially planned area (SPA) plan for the City
of Aspen Water Treatment Plant an omission was made; and
WHEREAS, the SPA plan has been revised to eliminate three
storage buildings which will be demolished and to show the new
single storage facility building; and
WHEREAS, a full site plan has been prepared whic accurately
conveys the full property plan and meets all conditions of the
engineering department; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held on Marcy 20, 1984, the
Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission did review the requested
amendment and then did recommend co the Aspen City Council the
adoption of the amended SPA plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
The Specially planned area plan adopted by Ordinance No. 18
(Series of 1983) is hereby amended by the adoption of the ordinance
and the recordation of the attached full site plan (exhibit "A")
for lot 4 of the City Thomas Property subdivision.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court or competent jurisdiction, such

portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions thereof.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the
