ORDINANCE NO. ~

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-143 AND SECTION 20-18 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS 7-143(5) AND 20-18(A)(5),
WHICH SUBSECTIONS EMPOWER THE CITY FINANCE DIRECTOR TO POSTPONE
PAYMENT IN FULL OF THE PARK DEDICATION FEE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado,
finds that it is in the best interests of the efficient adminis-
tration of City government to amend the Municipal Code by repeal-
ing Section 7-143(5) and Section 20-18(A)(5) thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That Section 7-143(5) of the Aspen Municipal Code, as
amended, be and hereby is repealed.
Section 2
That Section 20-18(A)(5) of the Aspen Municipal Code, as
amended, be and hereby is repealed.
Section 3
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions thereof.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on th~ ~

the City Counoil Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
