Discussion on CCLC board. Terry said she has been through a lot of City Council's and a lot of history has been passed down. CCLC members bring a wealth of knowledge to the committee. In the beginning CCLC was very powerful. They worked hard on HBO in order to keep them here. City council has been giving the board less respect. Possibly we need to lobby more. We worked on the newspaper racks, market, trash, alleys etc. Terry said we need to talk individually to each council member and discuss the CCLC and get back on a good relationship. We need to communicate with them. CCLC has shaped our downtown. We need to change our attitude and work with city council. Kathleen Strickland. Chief Deputv Clerk 1
